“Identification of reactive CpGs and RNA expression in early COVID-19”
A new study (2025) from KOGIC uses cis-eQTM analysis to link methylation changes and gene expression in early COVID-19 phases, correlating to disease severity and recovery. ResearchGate+1

“Dynamic and reversible transcriptomic age shifts induced by COVID-19 in Korean whole blood”
This 2025 paper reports that COVID-19 induces a transient acceleration of the transcriptomic aging clock (up to ~21 years), which reverses after recovery. PubMed

Korea4K Whole-Genome Dataset Released
In 2024, KOGIC published Korea4K, comprising 4,157 Korean whole genomes paired with 107 phenotypic data points. They reported 45+ million variants, many not previously captured in smaller panels, and novel genome-phenome associations. PubMed+1
